We are a versatile, friendly, professional nursery catering for the diverse needs of children, parents and carers. We are easily accessible in a lovely rural area, housed in a pretty Victorian school building. We are open from 8am to 6pm 50 weeks per year. Children come to us from a wide catchment area and go on to attend a variety of local schools. The nursery school is divided into the Baby Barn for children from birth to 3 years and The Nursery for children who are pre-school age.
We help children to enjoy learning, establish routines through hands-on play based activities and open ended opportunities for exploration and experimentation. We work with you to ensure your child's time with is tailored to their specific needs and interests and supports your home routine and culture
Food and Mealtimes
Mealtimes are an important part of our day and we encourage all children to sit and eat together in the dining room. Many parents feel this really helps prepare their children for primary school. All food is high quality and meals are prepared and cooked daily by our cook, Joanna. The meat is purchased from the local butchers and the fruit and vegetables come from a local wholesaler.
Breakfast, if required, is supplied free of charge to children in the Baby Barn and those who attend the main nursery before 9am. Cooked lunch is served at midday to all children in the nursery and tea is served free of charge to children in the Baby Barn and those who attend the main nursery after 3pm.
Snacks are offered mid morning and mid afternoon and consist of a choice fruit and varying types of bread and butter (toast, pitta, baguette, chapatti, crackers, croissants etc).
The Sibton Nursery School Holiday Club is open every school holiday except Christmas for children aged 2 years to 10 years.
